Focus on European Bizav

Over the next six weeks MIU Events is involved with running two events in Europe which will bring together many pro-active and innovative private and business aviation professionals.

Delegates gather at RAF Northolt, West London from 17-19 March for the BA Meet Up http://www.miuevents.com/ba-meetup-10 . The event involves all the different disciplines within business aviation who meet to consider the future of the industry in Europe. This event is less about being told what's going on by speakers and more about interaction and shared experiences. Those of us in the commercial sector also get the chance to see how the military approach VIP handling and flight Ops. Full conference proceedings will be available online following the event.

A little over 5 weeks on we will be in Prague for the first meeting of the Central Europe Private Aviation Association (CEPA). Although the Association was only set up in November there has been an enthusiastic response to the initiative and the CEPA conference MIU is organising in conjunction with CEPA  http://www.miuevents.com/cepa-2010 will be the first dedicated event for operators and the private aviation community in Central Europe. During the event there will be a press conference to announce further initiatives as the Association gathers momentum.

As the freeze from the global downturn starts to thaw there is, as ever, much to look forward to in the private and business aviation industry. We hope to see you at one of our events over the coming months.
