DayJet suspend operations

DayJet, the original on seat, on demand air taxi service has suspended all operations. The DayJet website says "it has discontinued its jet services and cancelled all future flights as a result of the company's inability to arrange critical financing in the midst of the current global financial crisis".

A congressional subcommitte had recently alleged certification of the Eclipse 500 had been rushed but DayJet officials declared that this had not affected operations.
