Epic claim to be fastest VLJ

The Epic Elite, currently undergoing flight testing, has logged cruise speeds in excess of 385kts according to the manufacturer. The Elite is powered by two Williams Jet FJ-33-4 engines and can climb to FL410 in 17 minutes. The eight seater aircraft has a range of 1600 miles in economy cruise, fully loaded.
The Company's CEO, Rick Schrameck said - "We're faster than the Phenom 100 and way faster than the Eclipse 500 .........we always knew we were building the fastest VLJ out there."
