OpenSkies for the Open Skies agreement

OpenSkies is the first new airline following the Open Skies agreement that went into effect on 30th March 2008 liberalising the market and allowing any airline to serve destinations between the US and the EU. The first flights took place on June 19 between Paris Orly and New York JFK.
It is a subsidiary airline of British Airways and by the end of 2009 it plans to operate six Boeing 757 aircraft with a reduced seat configuration from the standard 180 seats to 82 passengers per flight.
