20 million bags lost by scheduled carriers each year

If you had any lingering doubts about the advantages of the air taxi over scheduled carriers, consider the following for a moment. Figures just published by the Association of European Airlines reveal that an average of 16.6 bags per 1000 passengers were delayed on European flights in 2007. TAP Air Portugal was the worst performer with British Airways a close second. In all 20 million bags were "mishandled" (industry speak for lost ) in 2007.
