Middle East BizJet market to top $1billion

The regional business jet market in the Middle East is growing at between 15-20% pa and is set to generate $1 billion turnover by 2012, according to Ali Al Naqbi, chairman of Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).

In a series of road shows around the Gulf, previewing the forthcoming MEBAA business exhibition, Al Naqbi said that the GCC countries were in a strong position to weather the storm in global markets. He went on to say, "we are seeing more and more companies increasing their presence here to capitalise on this potential (for growth)".
