Private Air Charter Operations - Sorting Myth from Reality
Workshop Leader - Capt Bill Minkoff, President, JetQuik
There has been much discussion within the GA community regarding what aircraft types are best suited for missions within India. Infrastructure, reliability, access to airports, MRO backup, aircraft deliveries and permit approval, bureaucracy, crew certification and customer expectations are all factors which will influence aircraft selection and operation. Additionally, various commentators have suggested that the air taxi model could well gain traction in the Indian market as there are fewer impediments to it's success!
In this post conference workshop a variety of commentators, experts, existing operators and industry professionals compare notes and in an open forum debate some of the issues likely to influence aircraft selection and the necessary factors essential for private air charter operators to be successful in the Indian market.
