About GAME 2008 

General aviation or GA is the term commonly used to descibe all aviation activities except those performed by the major scheduled airlines and the military.

GA plays a vital role in a regions's transportation systems. In Dubai and the Middle East most people will think of business aviation as the main sector outside of commercial and military aviation, but there are a host of aviation disciplines which fall under GA. Just consider the following - flying support services for the emergency services (police, air ambulance, medi-vac and fire fighting), security, air taxi and air charter operations, flight training (private and commercial), high end FBO and MRO functions, rescue missions, agricultural operations, aerial photography, pipeline and electricity cable patrol, flying displays, helicopter operations, flight catering, aircraft OEM plants with service and support functions, second hand aircraft sales, exchange and aircraft spare parts supply, VIP handling services, simulator facilities, aeronautical information and meteorological information services, aircraft finance and leasing companies, consultants, IT specialists and aerospace support services.
